Because unlike wanting to be a dinosaur, there's decades of science showing kids with persistent gender dysphoria:
- Rarely grow out of it
- Continue to suffer if not treated
- Suffer lifelong pain if they go through the wrong puberty
- Are at significant risk of suicide/self-harm if untreated
- Thrive as well as cis kids if they are supported by family/friends and given gender-affirming care
