As someone who has to work like hell to lose every single pound, I was gobsmacked when a friend said he’s dropped seven pounds in a week.
Me: How do you even do that?
He: I go to the gym a lot.
Me: I go to the gym a lot.
He: I barely eat.
Me: I barely eat.
He: Oh, yeah, well, and I’m taking Ozympic.
@Jonathanglick No, I just very-annoyingly-for-a-foodie-and-drinkie don’t need many calories to exist. Perfectly satisfied on a regular schedule of small meals that are mainly whole grains and produce at home with a very judicious mix of everything when I dine out. It works for me because I really don’t feel hungry between meals and have lots of willpower.
Anyway, I’ve always been jealous of those guys who stop drinking a Coke each day and drop right back to college weight. Are you one of those?
@Jonathanglick At the end of the day, I think everything is down to that math. I just have a body that’s especially uncooperative given how much I make that math happen haha.
@Jonathanglick All of the above is why I think Ozympic might not even do anything for me. In the sense that I understand it helps get people to where I already am in not feeling like I need much food and having no problem eating limited portions.
