@jwildeboer Yeah, using RHEL as a foundation for OL and certifying own products for it is really an obvious way for "undercutting". Well, go ahead, be the next SCO ;)

That's pretty much the same thought I had, but you put it more eloquently.
The next time I hear someone suggest that we run Oracle on Windows, I'm gonna say, how about we run MSSQL on RHEL? Yes, I said it. Even Microsoft cares more about freedom than Oracle does.
@jwildeboer what is your take away on this? I can't but channel what another person said on Twitter "When oracle writes something like this about anyone they should know they failed, big."
@jwildeboer I was there when Sun acquisition went through and it upset me just like it upset all of #FOSS community knowing what #Oracle is capable of doing. Now, imagine THAT bad company is finding #RedHat move a bad one, and offering you keep previous #RHEL model by offloading the dev to them, something like RH become rebuilders (or freeloaders, hobbyists, hackers..etc.)! Don't you see how positions were swapped over night?
