"Federal auto safety investigators say in a new report that they've identified hundreds of crashes — 13 of them deadly — in which Tesla's Autopilot system failed to protect its drivers and passengers.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's Office of Defects Investigations (ODI) flagged 467 crashes over a period of about 15 months from 2022-23."

Drivers using Tesla autopilot are f-ing idiots. Self driving cars are f-ing nonsense. Maybe in controlled "tracks" like a dedicated expressway lane where the autopilot just stays in lane, follows speed limit, maintains following distance. Cut sleepy driver, highway hypnosis syndrome. That's a plus. Mixing it in chaotic traffic needs a whoooole lot more testing NOT with gen pop who did not sign up to be guinea pigs
