In an ATV trip to Innaaluup Nuvua last summer we stopped at the top of this magnificent valley above Innaarulaalikuluk and Admiralty Inlet.

I so much prefer the Nunavut language to English, even though I don't speak or understand it. I spend ages looking at the words, trying to say them. Beautiful language.

@NunavutBirder @thomasfuchs Do you feel claustrophobic when coming down south, with the trees or big buildings?

I remember a class trip in high school. Students from Cape Breton, NS, and some from Saskatchewan visited each other. It was strange for the east coasters to drive towards a town for 2 hrs, seeing it on the horizon, just getting closer, and very disorientating for the prairie kids not knowing in what direction they were travelling, as roads were so twisty & trees hid views. :)

@CStamp @thomasfuchs No. not at all. I grew up on the prairies and lived in the heart of the boreal. Most common southern feeling is one of bewilderment at the amount of choice in grocery stores
