How good is the battery life on my #Asus#Zenfone 11? I spent all day at #Disneyland, leaving at close. Relatives with iPhones had their batteries die around noon to mid-afternoon. Disneyland sells portable chargers everywhere. I never charged my phone once, used it all throughout the day (pretty much have to run Disneyland app), didn't use any power saving mode, etc, and when I got back in around 1:30am, I still had 55% left.
Retrospective from a month with the #Zenfone 11 Ultra:
I'm now officially a fan of the Zenfone. It hits a certain sweet spot for me between the headphone jack, UI, camera, and battery life. It's the direction #Samsung should have gone.
I don't like the larger size more than the size of the 9/10, but it is roughly the same size of my previous Samsung Galaxy Plus, so I can definitely live with it.
I switched from #Samsung to #Asus for the hardware/value, but did not expect to like Asus' take on #Android so much. You can basically choose between a Pixel/AOSP type experience or optionally choose some extra polish that smoothes over some of the rougher edges of AOSP. The optional quality of life improvements on top of a more stock experience really hit the sweet spot for me.
I had no idea #asus was getting into some drama about bootloader unlocking. I'm totally out of the loop on this. I'm utterly confused if they plan to remove that option from my zen 9 or not. Anyway, info about a court action.
I knew i should've kept the promise I did to never buy asus products ever again, but unfortunately it was the only reasonable phone I found at the time.
