I would love to make the Open Space format better known in the cybersecurity context. I think it is a valuable addition to existing formats such as traditional conferences or #BSides

Der erste Hashtag überhaupt, eine Erfindung von Cris Messina auf Twitter, lautete damals #Barcamp. Heute merken wir die Aufspaltung der Community auf verschiedenste Plattformen: es gibt nicht mehr den einen Ort für alle.
Schön wäre eine Zukunft, wo es egal ist, auf welcher Plattform wir posten, weil alle Plattformen miteinander verbunden werden können, Stichwort: Interoperabilität. #bcbn24

Da kommen immer wieder alle möglichen bunten Themenvorschläge.
Ich habe dort letztes Jahr einen Best Session Award für einen spontanen Vortrag zum Thema Authentifizierungsmethoden bekommen. (In etwa in diese Richtung von https://karl-voit.at/2023/03/05/Passwortsicherheit/ )
Das Thema war mit keinem der offiziellen Slots verteidigbar. 😜
Das ist ja das Coole an so einem Barcamp, finde ich.
Und das war das TYPO3 Camp Mitteldeutschland 2024. 🥳 Zum Abschluss wurden noch die drei besten Sessions von @kaystrobach (linke Seite) und +Pluswerk CEO Jens Krumm (rechte Seite) prämiert. Herzlichen Glückwunsch an die Gewinner. 🥇🎈Wir sehen uns auf dem nächsten @typo3

15 years ago today I was at the first Barcamp Liverpool.
It was a super important event for me, as it brought together a huge cross-section of the city's (and beyond) geeks to share stories and knowledge and get to know each other.
It's also where I first met some of the folk who were co-founders of @DoESLiverpool. And also where the seed for DoES itself was planted.
It's been too long (11 years!) since the last Barcamp Liverpool. One of my goals for 2024 is to run another, the #DoESCongress
I'm on the lookout for folk to help organise it - find a venue and some (more) sponsorship, choose date, etc.- and I'm hoping to get a bit more free time to devote to that in the new year, once the @museuminabox redesign is out the door 😁
Zwei super erste Sessions gehabt. Zu erste ging es um den ‚perfekten Auftritt‘ auf der Bühne. Vieles hier gelernt für meine nächsten Bild-Präsentation
Danach ging es um ‚Triggerpunkte‘ und da natürlich auch in die aktuelle politische Lage. Auch dies war eine sehr spannende Diskussion. Hier müssen aber noch Wege für die (sher nahe) Zukunft gefunden werden wie man damit umgeht. #BarCamp#MediaCampNRW
Am 23. und 24. März findet in Essen wieder mal das #PodCamp statt, ein #BarCamp für Podcastende, von Amateur bis Profi. Ich überlege gerade, wer da alles hingeht und ob ichs dieses Jahr nicht auch mal tun sollte. Wäre mein erstes Mal.
