Good. The state #oppression of gay people and #LGBTQ+ people in general must be condemned and ended worldwide. Only then can true #freedom be achieved. ✊
Of course, the law did not JUST target gay people. "#Homosexual acts" were illegal so #bisexual people were not off the hook. #Homophobia almost always implies #biphobia and other -phobias.
#biphobia / #bierasure is so strange to me. Like, is it really that impossible to imagine that people might find romantic or sexual attraction to others for something besides their anatomy??
Oh I forgot, I'm married to a cis man and have children with him, therefore any #bisexual or #queer feelings I've had were all a self-deluded lie and I was ramrod straight the whole time 🙃
Trudeau said #BIPHOBIA along with #homophobia and #transphobia in a tweet, and apparently the #gay and #lesbian birdsite is having a fit. Or at least the biphobes among them are. Yet I'm not seeing the rest crawl out of the woodwork to tell them that biphobia is real and wrecks lives.
