Release of 2003 Australian🇦🇺 Cabinet papers from Howard Government shows that Australia went to war in Iraq beside the USA with no full weighing the pros and cons of the Australian intervention.

There were also three major opportunities missed:

  • establish a sovereign wealth fund to invest the temporary windfall gains from the mining boom.

  • establish an emissions trading scheme.

  • advance progress on constitutional recognition of Indigenous people.

So in 2003 Australian🇦🇺 Prime minister John Howard intervened to kill the emissions trading scheme that his cabinet wanted. They also failed to back up QLD Labor Premier Beattie reducing land clearing. shtfckery. Of course you all already knew that all this shit about and was never about anything but fraud and greed. Of course you were angry about Brewdog et al's theft of land in Scotland, and 's complicity in it. But have you thought about the consequences of that for the ?

@yogthos and how much of that forest had been traded for fraudulent ?

Every business that claims it is based on so-called carbon trading, every politician who promotes schemes, should be treated as criminal. This is deliberate deception.
