During my podcast run I ran into Bill Simmons confessing that this is the easiest path to the championship for the and if it’s yet another disappointing playoffs then they should blow it up.

Jamal Murray nails the drifting three over a defender at the first quarter buzzer. 30, 28. Gonna be a good one. @nba

Just about time (on the computer) with football on the big screen. Important for not to have a letdown after the big win over the . A loss today would be like a sloppy double bogey one hole after making a birdie. @nba

Defense wins championships, and it also breaks long winning streaks. The stopped the several times in the last 30 seconds to pull out the win, 102-100, ’s first home loss of the season.

On offense, it was a lot of PB&J — Murray with 35 points, eight rebounds and five assists; Jokic with 34-12-9 for the Sombor Double.

Next up for the Nuggets — at Washington on Sunday. @nba

One-point game after three quarters. Jokic has 30-9-9; Murray has 24-5-4. Need Aaron Gordon to get going, too — just one point so far. 82, 81. @nba

Late start for me with the tonight, but they’re hanging in there. Jokic (26) and Murray (24) are leading the way. Nuggets 69, 68, third quarter. @nba

As I move instances today, I figure it's time for another #Introduction. I am the only Orthodox #Jewish #transgender #film critic that I know of. That said, I do cover #TV to some extent. I am a member of various awards-voting critics groups.

In addition to my love of #movies, I am also a #baseball fan and write about baseball at Dugout Dirt (which will remain on #Substack until my #Buttondown newsletter brings in enough paid subscription revenue to justify a move). The #StLCards are my favorite baseball team and when it comes to college #sports, it's all about the #KentuckyWildcats aka #BBN. I root for the #Boston #Celtics when it comes to the #NBA even as many ex-Cats are playing throughout the league.

Another thing: I am very vocal when it comes to speaking out against #antisemitism no matter where it comes from.

that game was so boring made my paella.

it's my Everything But The Kitchen Sink Paella; a chicken paella with whatever i have in the fridge & freezer.

fried the bottom of the chix thighs with grease from this morning's bacon because why not?

founf extra smoked ham from a pea soup i made. added new & left over frozen veggies (frozen for no bother, high quality veggies).

stock & saffron? nah. beer & dried safflower.

today is the simplest & am grateful.

rememeber that time Doris Burke actually read names out of a phone book? her voice is so dreamy and soothing. still can't believe she used to be a coach.

i still cannot believe Steven A, Kendrick Perkins and what's his name have careers as sports commentators.

what is it with annoying men failing upwards.

btw: Kendrik Perkins reminds of my Tití's boyfriend. he was like a Puerto Rican fun-sized Barry White. i can still smell the jerry curl and goldbond powder.

Quality win by Minnesota tonight over the Miami Heat! Huge rebound by Karl Anthony Towns passing it in directly to an alleyoop was the play of the 4th quarter.

Not sure how the lost their second coaches challenge. The explanation on the floor didn't match the video at all.

I will entirely forgive the "deserving" to lose the last two games (and splitting the difference going 1-1) but if they take their A-game to the most recent NBA champion from the Eastern Conference, the Milwaukee tomorrow night.

Can the keep their focus for a game they should win easily?

(Tonight versus the Memphis without Marcus Smart or practically anyone else.)

mlncn,

I was right. I hate being right. The lost to the in overtime.

The one thing i liked that Mazzulla did was when the Pritchard and Kornet bench unit struggled despite making the right moves offensively, he called a time out, and kept the same group out there— and they turned it around and got us a comfortable lead for a little while, and the under-utilized bench had a plus for the night. While Porzingis and Brown were huge negatives on the night. And instead of keeping the bench unit going or going deeper and giving JD Davison a chance to shine, the visibly tired starters were brought back in, too early and… welp, lead given up, and then fell short in overtime.
