Good fuckin’ morning! Our #Citroen has decided to be a french car again and thrown an error code in the middle of a major intersection. Stopped the engine and tried to start it again, but it’s not getting any fuel. Nice people pushed the car with us, so we could park it and get to school with a public transportation.
The car is now in the garage, but the winter break is near, so we probably won’t see it for another 2 weeks.
#Cycling hard mode on for the kids, because the weather is shit…🤡
In my angry attempt to put towing hook in I obviously hurt my hand and had to do a fair bit of pushing this 1,5t pile of garbage myself. In 0°C. So now my arms and back are sore. Happy #Thursday! #Citroen#Cycling
Today we’re looking at the Mitsubishi i-MiEV, the electric version of the i. The i-MiEV had a similar rear-motor/rear-drive layout to the Smart ForTwo I posted yesterday but with a longer, surprisingly roomy four-door body. It went on sale in 2010, beating even the Nissan Leaf to the market. It was also sold as the Peugeot iOn and Citroën C-Zero. I snapped this Peugeot-badged version in Munich in 2012. These are great fun.

Factoid Extra: October 6th, 1955 - arguably one of the most significant days in the history of the car as that’s when the Citroën DS had its debut at the Paris Salon.
Never before had such an advanced car been launched & you could say it hasn’t been equalled since… #weirdcarmastodon#citroen
@Basmitharts@Mark: Interesting and kinda funny question. I wonder what would count as "impractical". 🙂
So my TV detective character would be driving a #Citroën#CX#Hearse (or a Break outfitted as auxiliary hearse, i.e. just with coffin rails and an elongated/convex tailgate) which needs to visit the garage a bit too often. (The latter being the impractical part. And maybe the coffin rails, too.)
Can someone explain how it makes sense that an #Opel#eVivaro / #Citroen#eJumpy Crew Cab #EV van (3 second rate seats in the rear) is more expensive, even with fewer features, than the equivalent #Zafira minibus / people carrier with lots of bells and whistles?
Not sure if that’s the case elsewhere, but certainly it is in Finland. It feels like the van versions are 10K more expensive than they should be.
Had my beautiful car towed out of storage in a barn in Rigaud where it's been since the pandemic started, and took it to a mechanic with a different barn. #Citroen
