I totally forgot to share this when it happened. On the way up to Canada, one of our hotels failed to warn about (thankfully non-toxic) grass fertilizer with green dye on their lawn. I call this one Green Legs and #Hammy. (apologies to Dr. Seuss) #DogsOfMastodon
After a long morning of loading the POD, stuffing the car, cleaning, scrubbing, double-checking, all on very little sleep… we’re off! #Canada here we come.
It’s been too long since I posted a picture of Hamilton and just got a request. Heeeeere’s #Hammy! Sleepy Hammy who loves everything. #DogsOfMastodon
& before my Debbie Downers do their usual pinning negative attributes to him, no: He’s not hungry, angry, sad, lonely, impatient, or deprived in any way, shape or form. He’s simply happy and cute.
Ever have days when you have so much going on that your insides are on perma-rev-up and you can't slow it down?
Today is that day. We finished spackling/painting all the spots where artwork was hanging, we've dusted, vacuumed, and prepped the house. Our painters were unavailable, so it was us.
By the time the showing and trial are over today, I'll need to unwind. Lucky for me, Hammy needs walking at just the right time. That always does it.
On the road to our place in #Canada. I’ll post breaking news but may not reply. ❤️
For newbies, we got permanent residency there (yes, because of all the reasons you’re thinking) & must fulfill requirements (be there 2 years out of 5). We split our time between 🇨🇦 & California home bc 97 yr old father in law is in California so we can’t move yet.
