For some reason, as a trans person, it irks me when people want to impose an idea of who I'm supposed to be based upon the circumstances of my birth. And when I tell people this, they say, oh, well, that makes sense... you're a Sagittarius after all 😅
Hot take: It's better to tell your open source contributors to do
$ pytest
than to hide it behind
$ make test
The former makes it clear how to pass filters, extra options, plugins, change verbosity, anything. The latter is unnecessary syntactic sugar that helps no-one.
