At #IKEA we do something called "Front Days" where the office workers get a chance to work in the store. It's a really good idea, as sometimes we get a bit disconnected from the store and the business of selling furniture.
Finished my first day, and I'm working Friday/Saturday too - it's been quite a while since I worked in retail and I forgot how busy you are on your feet!

On my end, I recently got a can of Crazy Aaron’s Thinking Putty. I’ve often been fidgeting with my eyeglasses case during meetings, and I was afraid of breaking it. That’s why I decided to get something nicer and much more fidget-friendly.
Nothing particularly exciting about it. Left Mac is my work Mac, right one is my personal one, which I swap in when doing my own stuff. #ikea motorized standing desk.
My nemesis is cables. I've knocked over more than one waterglass with them 😨 Need them better organized.

№ 16 of my instrument collection series gives you an instrument that isn’t really one: It’s a fruit bowl from IKEA, diameter roughly 42 cm (16½″). The first hit is a soft one, but with the bowl on uneven ground (wooden floor, actually), the second one is harder but with the bowl set on a piece of cloth. Note the extra noises in the first hit; I think they give some interesting texture to the sound.
Luckily, it’s just a click and collect whilst my wife grabs a few extra items in store. It’s manic here already and it’s only been open less than an hour!
Wir werden unseren Kühlschrank austauschen. Der Neue wird kleiner (89 cm hoch) sein und leider gibt es den nur als Einbaugerät. Das alte Teil wird abgestellt und, so der Vermieter will, recycled. Deshalb waren wir heute bei #IKEA um nach einem Schrank dafür zu suchen. Der Schrank darf nur 144 cm hoch sein was IKEA nicht im Angebot hat. Ergo selber bauen oder bauen lassen. 1/2
I'm pretty pleased when I get more than a day's charge out of my modern phone, but with two #IKEA#LADDA-branded #eneloop Pro AAs, I got four days shy of six months' light use out of my #HP#200LX#DOS#palmtop! Going back to regular eneloops for the next round, but I'm pretty impressed with this performance! 🔋✨
