I'm back using #Impress.js again, but nothing that will be a presentation at public events.
Brainstorming:
I'm considering using it for presentations for short videos that I can share. I experienced that some people learn better with videos than text.
I have often wondered why #LibreOffice isn't more popular. Today I tried a very simple design with #Impress. Basically three rounded rectangles with texts of different alignments. Really nothing fancy.
I gave up in frustration after 20 minutes when rendered text alignments would not match the object's settings no matter what I try.
For a relatively new #foss project, I would start writing bug reports. For something as mature as LibreOffice, if such basic features don't work, it's not for me.
Is there a #libreoffice expert who can tell me how to get a newly created Master in #impress to apply my Style settings to all Layouts? I have customized all the Styles and created a new Master slide from scratch. However, there are 3 Layouts out of 16 that have the wrong font and color. I could not find any indication that this might be a #bug, but also no solution on how to get my Styles applied to all Layouts.
