She's very hard to see, but this is my nearly 16 year old female kitty named Bess.

She loves when I lay on the couch as she will often curl up close to me and sleep comfortably for hours!

A very rare picture of Bess and Kumquat laying close together.

Bess tolerates Kumquat to some degree but she is old and set in her ways and doesn't like anyone taking up her space or close to it.

Bess rarely gets in the bed any longer because of that and since Kumquat spends a lot of time there.

Happy 15th birthday to this beautiful kitty, Bess!

Bess is one of a kind special kitty. We've had her since she was about 8 weeks old. She's super loving and sweet, but also very set in her ways. She's definitely the one who runs this house on a daily basis.

She was once 23 1/2 pounds, but due to age, she's down to about 10 1/2 pounds over the last 18 months or so.
