I had an idea to take some measurements and create a complex image that could theoretically be made 1:1 in a Mario Maker 2 comment. I intend to do that at some point with this, but it's pretty daunting! I spent a long time porting and pruning UI elements free-handed, as well as only working with the 17 MM2 colors you can use. I think the end result is quite neat, and departs away from my usual lower resolution pixel art focus. Despite that though, there is a lot of low resolution pixel planning embedded within the paint UI, so really it's a bit of both!
