Pixel art of forgotten depths, where the earth cradles remnants of a civilization once vibrant beneath the ancient Mayan ruins. In these dimly lit chambers, flickering torches cast a spectral glow, weaving a tapestry of light and shadow across walls inscribed with the wisdom of ages. No merchants call, no footsteps tread; the market lies abandoned, its legacy enshrouded in the damp, musty embrace of the underground. Silence reigns in the hallowed hollows, save for the quiet drip of time's relentless passage. Mystical artefacts stand as silent sentinels amongst the vestiges of rare spices, their scents long since melded into the eternal earthiness of this secluded sanctum. Started a new sculpting project in Blender Sculpt Mode.

I love SDF modeling, but I also like to remain adroit in traditional 3D sculpting. Both techniques have their own charm.

In this stage I'm determining the global shapes and add some crude first details.

Blender portrait sculpture work-in-progress stages.

I decided to sculpt this guy as a single mesh, instead of the usual blocking out with separate primitives. Then I separated the shirt once that was sufficiently shaped.
