As someone who has lost #trans :heart_trans: loved ones because of #transphobia, I'm fed up with this very small percentage within an already small group of detransitioners who actively campaign to derail the transitions of others.
I'm not holding my breath this heralds a break in the fever of the trans moral panic, but it's a step in the right direction. And it's always good to see the haters foiled.
Nex was beaten unconscious and then suspended from school for using the bathroom that conservatives wanted him to use. He then took his life in response, likely realizing that he would get no support from a school system ran by ghouls who support a radical right wing agenda that wants to exterminate trans people.
Trans children deserve to be supported & safe at school. That's why we're part of the #SupportiveSchools coalition.

my kid is doing a skate-a-thon for their roller derby team! derby is super queer and a super safe space for LGBT kids to build an awesome support network. sponsor them to help cover rent, equipment costs for new players, and event hosting. you can donate per lap or a flat amount and they're a non profit so it's tax deductable. every donation counts!
Science is entirely on the side of the trans community, including trans kids. This resolution passed 153-9. Every other major medical organization has the same position. The disconnect between science and mainstream media is astounding and shameful.
