Qld LNP's David Littleproud still wont reveal the details but he now says nuclear reactors will be built "close" to the existing coal power stations. They are targeting 6-7 sites. (The easiest ones to secure would be the Qld owned ones with David Crisafulli as premier.)

Colin Boyce is the former Qld LNP MP for the state seat of Callide & current fed MP for Flynn. He's volunteered the electorates for nuclear reactors. Under the Qld LNP, coal power would be extended while hindering the state's renewables progress. They have begun targeting power hubs at Gladstone.

Angus Taylor confirming nuclear energy will have to be subsidised in Australia. Even just being a distraction is bad enough. With David Crisafulli as Queensland premier they'll use him to slow down renewables while consultants are paid to conduct feasability studies at all the proposed sites.

If you haven't already, you'll start seeing the Qld LNP ads with the state director authorisation at the bottom or end as B Riley. Ben was suspended in 2013 for 6 months for taking a pair of RM Williams boots from a stand outside the LNP convention. It was dismissed as a prank & he was soon back rising through the ranks. https://www.smh.com.au/national/disgraced-young-lnp-star-comes-back-to-the-fold-20140126-31gtd.html

So between the solar panels we got put in a couple of months ago, and the QLD government's Cost of Living Rebate for electricity bills starting July 1st, my approximate electricity bill for the next financial year is.... $0. Got to admit, I wasn't expecting things to be quite that dramatic after I got the panels in.

Ever since Bruce Ruxton died in 2011, Australians have struggled to find a way to make ANZAC Day cringeworthy, manipulatively sentimental, insensitive, attention-grabbing, disrespectful, inauthentically mythologised, and downright embarrassing.

At last, we have all that and more — thanks to the Queensland government's Virtual Veterans AI guide to World War I. Hurrah to the Queensland Government and the brave techbros at TalkVia AI who merged the horrors of war and the horrors of an "AI" LLM chatbot.

Peter Dutton confirms the he'll extend the lives of Australia's coal-fired power stations. In Queensland, he'll need David Crisafulli as premier to do that but what about other states? Also, corrected on his nuclear power G20 claim - Indonesia has no nuclear, Italy & Germany have phased theirs out.

Good to see the headline unemployment figures fall. The underemployment figure is really what we need to address.

On headline figures, we know what happens in Queensland when the Qld LNP takes over & starts axing. Up to 6.9% under Campbell Newman. https://www.abs.gov.au/statistics/labour/employment-and-unemployment/labour-force-australia/latest-release

Apparently, it's childish to ask Peter Dutton if he'd live next to a nuclear reactor & infers it's all safe. However, he didn't answer the question yes or no to one which would be in his seat of Dickson in Queensland which would be around Pine Rivers at state seat level.

Peter Dutton's cut price nuclear reactors sounds like The Simpsons Monorail episode which is based on The Music Man. David Crisafulli, raise a nuclear bill in the parliament, the MPs can debate it & we'll see what Qld has to say about it at the October election.

David Crisafulli was in the room with Campbell Newman when he was doing horrible things to us in Queensland, ignoring the separation of powers & sacking +14,000 people. Integrity? He did nothing to stop it.

Peter Dutton, outline the nuclear reactor plan that you're intending for our Queensland state power assets. Your mate David Crisafulli can then take it to the Queensland state election in October and we can all vote on it.

And in Qld political news, Andrew Laming is making a play for Mayor of Redlands shire.

IMO, there is no room for him in any position of power anywhere. If the people of Redlands vote for him, they deserve what they will get... they know him & his very special way of representing the people.

Meanwhile, I'll be preparing for political refugees!

In one of Queensland's biggest councils, Moreton Bay, the mayor has no challenger. 14 other Qld mayors will also win walkover contests on 16 March. Why do we Queenslanders keep talking about QLNP Premier Campbell Newman so long after he was voted out in 2015? It's because we don't want the same thing to happen in the future. +14,000 Queenslanders sacked is a lot of people. https://www.themandarin.com.au/17126-qld-election/

We've got these two in charge of the opposition in Queensland who were part of the Newman government and we still don't know exactly what they're going to do to us if they get into government. Fair enough if we had two non-Newmanists in opposition but that's not the reality.
