Kind of amazing that we have recent popular literature which mentions a star and assumes it is a permanent fixture in the sky, when that star might explode within our lifetime. 🤯
Of course we also have star charts from the middle ages that show stars that can't be found in the sky today. 🤷🤔

Does anyone ever use "ass" any more to refer to the braying, four legged, pack animal? Or have the once slang definitions become the primary definitions?
World is falling apart, most of the shit you love is too problematic to be cool anymore, your country is held hostage by fascists, you're not sure you made many good decisions in life, you're getting old, and now they're remaking The Crow and Road House.

Does anyone else have a ~code folder on all their non-server computers?
Music, Videos, Pictures, Documents, .... code, etc.
I have that for source code that I write (each project in a git repo below) and then there's ~code/contrib for repos I've cloned or source I've downloaded.
Everything gets built with a prefix of /opt/local. System stays nice and clean and I have all the custom stuff.

I thought about buying the #AirPodsMax multiple times now. But the fact that they still load with Lightning is so weird. Especially as they have no type of MagSafe.
I still use the AirPods Pro 2 and they're okay, but recently I don't really like in-ear headphones and would like to have an alternative that has all features AirPods have. So there is not really the option to search outside of the Apple cosmos.
The AirPods Max are in their fourth year without an upgrade so it's probably better to still wait a few months.
Something I struggle with: Accepting not being liked by everyone. I can barely have disagreements with ppl in real life. I get physically ill. I can feel my blood pressure rise, my temp going up, my face turning red. Not out of anger, but just out of some kind of fear or anxiety. I start to quiver. Mom cried instantly during any disagreement. I guess I got it from her.
Online, I get this feeling when someone I like is critical of me or my work in a way that feels unfair. #randomthoughts
