"golden brown"
Where the heck did this expression come from? Gold isn't brown. It ranges from more yellowish to orangish based on the exact composition, but it is never brown. Does everyone else in the world throughout all of history see colors differently? Do I?
Fairly inconvenient, since it means when I want to be awake does a full rotation every week, like clockwork. Sure, I can force it to meet a normal "working hours" kind of deal with lots of coffee, but even then, I still prefer night jobs (*because then I get to spend the daytime outside in actual sunlight).

What I really miss in #gaming is the old school text-only #AdventureGames like Colossal Cave Adventure, The Pawn, or Guild of Thieves. Those were fun!

Sometimes I feel like I'm the only adult who doesn't really play video games all that often—just a couple on my phone every now and then—no consoles. I did as a kid and a bit less as a teenager.
Does that make me weird? Weirder than usual? 😉 🤷♂️

Also… When I did play games, I never really liked competitive videogames or ones with a lot of shooting or fighting. PVP sucks. I liked puzzle games—strategy and solution oriented games.
I Googled "mignola scifi sketch" because there was a sketch by Mike Mignola I remembered and couldn't find it. It wasn't the skull astronaut character, but more of a Buck Rogers type thing. Anyway... I was sad that the results drummed up SO MANY AI pieces of shit. Like probably a third of the results were "prompt searches" and other bullshit. I clicked on a sketchbook page only to realize instantly it was just a bunch of AI generated diaherra.

So what if Blockbuster (the American video rental store) went out of business? They should have just left it open for people to wander the aisles for a few hours and then leave without renting anything. That's pretty much what we did in the 1980s anyway. 🤷♂️
Maybe it could have been declared a new kind of public park or something? A wildlife reserve for humans?
In any case, I decided to give Mastodon another chance. I'm frustrated with social networks at this point, and sometimes I just miss having a place to drop some thoughts.
This is ussually when I start a new blog, but I know I just don't have the right state of mind to do so.
I just can't remember how I started on Twitter or Tumblr. Did I just follow people at random? I think I did. Should I just toot away?
