@sten@Error@maris I mean, #CGNAT is trash but for some abdurd reason my ISP gladly provides me a /29 of IPv4's yet won't offer ma a songle /64 of IPv6's
OFC #WireGuard may have done so since there are some #ISPs that do #CGNAT + #Tunneling i.e. [#L2TP on #DSL is common in #Russia to prevent people from 'blueboxing' by splicing the phone line]...
And in some Corporate setups this may even be desireable to have all the remote workers not able to #P2P as to mitigate #malware propagation...
Been working on a TAP/TAP wrapper for the Linux TUN driver (I believe it exports the same interface as the one for BSDs, as in it is also the same driver).
This project is nearing completion, I just need to get back to working on it soon again but hey, it works!
A few nice things to add would be manipulating the interface for adding addresses, setting the MTU and so on.
The great thing about this is I will be using it in one of my routing projects I have been working on!
