so, say there's a tech company that makes some hardware, and they're refusing to release SDKs (not even binaries) so they can force you to buy their overpriced proprietary dongles and use their sketchy apps.

and say this company has a forum and never thought to register an account with the company's name as the username... and also didn't think to restrict new thread creation in the "announcements" category to privileged users...

are there any legal concerns with posting an official looking announcement that they're making open source sdks a top priority with the longterm goal of releasing open source firmware so people can hack it and flash their own firmware - and then posting links to the thread on reddit/lemmy/here/etc saying "yadayada announces open sourcing plans"?

because it sounds like some fun chaos if it takes off before they have time to take it down 😈

A group of protesters is disabling robotaxis by placing cones on their hoods, and I am laughing my ass off.

Autonomous cars are a blight, and it is the private-profit-maximizing opposite of what we need in dense, urban areas (i.e. more pedestrian spaces, fewer cars, more transit).

The energy here is pure chaotic good and I’m loving it.

A video screen recording of Krita application. On the canvas, an artwork of mine ( "A witch of Magmah" sources on peppercarrot.com, artworks category ) . The video show how I use the selection tool around a finger of the character, and duplicate it. A little paint-over, and you have a hand with 6 fingers. If you don't get it: here some background. My art is part of many AI dataset without my consent. The AI have issue to denoise statistically the area containing fingers, and it result often into characters with problems into fingers. By adding a new finger at the source of the datasets, I'm expecting a huge sabotage in the learning of the correct amount of finger in illustration :-P Note: It's a joke.
