There are few things in the world as green as newly unfurled beech leaves in Spring. This was the scene I found myself immersed in at Dawsholm Park in the West of Glasgow during yesterday's morning dog walk.
To-day, when we were heading to the #DogWalk we went down the ploughed & salted glen road. It was easier to walk there than the deep snow on the verges.
As we were walking down, a large 4x4 tooted at us to get out of the way.
5 mins later, we caught up with the 4x4. It was stuck in the snow on the first uphill section. I offered them my "husky" to pull them up.
Later, we found the 4x4 abandoned at the bottom of the hill.
I had a friend who had two champion pulling dogs. Coming across a vehicle stuck in a ditch he offered to help. They laughed at his Suburau and said, "Sure."
He got his two dogs our, hooked them up to his truck and easily pulled out the vehicle.
