The #Senate minority leader is the highest-ranking #Republican to back Trump, & the move could help the f⁕⚠︎er w/major #donors “It is abundantly clear that …Trump has earned the requisite support of Republican voters to be our nominee for President of the United States,” #MitchMcConnell said in a statement to The Washington Post.
#McConnell — who has announced he will step down from his leadership role in Nov — is one of the most influential Washington #Republicans to back #Trump, & the #endorsement was a remarkable, if expected, move from the Kentucky Republican. He has held out in recent weeks as other Republicans have lined up to back Trump, including many who wanted a different nominee, & his endorsement means that almost every #powerful cog in the Republican apparatus is directly behind TFG.
But people close to both men are working behind the scenes to make bygones of the enmity between them & to pave the way for a critical #endorsement of TFG by the one #Republican congressional ldr who has yet to offer one, acc/to 3 people familiar w/both teams’….
Assuming it happens, #McConnell’s #endorsement of #Trump would have enormous symbolic value to Trump, giving him the embrace of the last holdout of #Republican#power whose rejection of him represents the final patch of unconquered territory in Trump’s march to the party’s 2024 presidential nomination.
The #UnitedAutoWorkers endorsed President Biden at its annual legislative conference Wednesday in Washington, signaling union support in auto-making swing states, where #Trump is also popular.

An #endorsement from #SarahHuckabeeSanders is worth about as much as a wet fart on taco night. And why do we even need an article telling us that she's endorsing #Trump? Were there people biting their nails, wondering if she would endorse #Biden? The #internet is a series of tubes, and we don't need our tubes tied up with this bullshit.
