Instagram changed the data export format again, I will update the import logic to support this updated format and maintain support with previous formats.
I'm working on libvips support in Pixelfed, it's much more efficient than GD or imagemagick!
The Import from IG feature currently does not optimize media, generate thumbnails or blurhash and is not uploaded to S3 and is a perfect candidate for testing this 😁
I was wrong about #Pixelfed's #InstagramImport. I thought it was importing carousels as individual posts, but in reality it was importing carousels in into a single post but the order of images got messed up. Thanks to it's newish edit posts function, I was able to fix the order of #comics posts.
While waiting for the rest of my posts to import, I need to figure out why the Collections option (basically a specific #gallery of posts) is only allowing me to add one carousel post to the Comics collection I'm making.
Also, there were some issues with the text import but fixing that is way low on the list of priorities.
