The Angel's Trumpet or Brugmansia is a tropical, exotic shrub that I put outside in the spring and bring inside in the winter. The large, pendulous shaped flowers are most fragrant in the evening when they attract the pollinating moths. When the shrub is in full bloom the display is outstanding.

Turn your face to the sun and enjoy the warmth. This Russian Mammoth Sunflower is my favorite. I love the colors of the center and it is so large, just beautiful. I find the pattern of the center of the Sunflowers mesmerizing with all those florets going round in a circle.

In the sunflower fields you will sometimes have odd accent pieces to highlight or focus on the bright yellow flowers and in this case it was an old wooden door with an open window. The Sunflower field has an added dimension with the vintage door near the path.
