Interesting choice. I can think of a few other people who have some Trek experience that might be able to produce a Star Trek film, but ok.
I'm sure up at the top there's totally different chiefs in charge of TV versus film and they don't interact with each other at all and don't want to. It's a bummer.
@virtualbri I am not a fan of prequels. Why does the Star Trek franchise continue to make prequels for an audience that is interested in futurism and exploration?? #StarTrek#prequel#scifi
"It is said to involve the creation of the Starfleet and humankind’s first contact with alien life."
If that's really what it is, for all I care just establish that Kelvin is an entire alternative universe and not an alternate timeline instead of annoying me by seeing how they frak around with the canon Star Trek: Enterprise already established.
How would you feel if you had to go back in time and watch your young self receive the worst bullying of your life all over again? How can Spock's dad stand by and watch his son endure this trauma and not intervene? Are the expectations placed on Vulcan children healthy or harmful?
Sarah picked up a new tat, and Allie picked up an ADORABLE Spock with the black cat from “Assignment Earth”. Unfortunately we didn’t get a photo together, but we did chat with Randy James (Lt. Jones, background and stand-in; TNG, DS9, ST: First Contact). He was super chill and so much fun to talk with. Hopefully we can get him on the show in the future!

Scientists have taken a significant step towards turning the sci-fi concept of "warp drives" into a feasible reality.
