Jeg har falt ned fra 3. til 4. plass på #StreetComplete, smh
Egentlig er det bra da, jeg har gjort veldig lite der ganske lenge nå, så hadde vært trist om ingen gikk forbi meg på den tiden. Men jeg må prøve å begynne å gjøre mer snart.
Bruker du StreetComplete for å gjøre OpenStreetMap bedre? :)

Ist eine App die einem Orte anzeigt wo noch Informationen für das #OpenStreetMap Projekt fehlen.
Ich gehe derzeit in der #Seestadt herum und versuche möglichst viele offene Fragen wie
> Wie viele Stufen hat die Stiege?
> Hat der Spielplatz eine Überdachung?
> Aus welchem Material ist dieser Weg?
>Wie hoch ist hier der Bordstein?
> Welche Art Fahrradständer ist hier?
usw. zu beantworten.
Ich muss sagen dass ist sehr niederschwellig gemacht - prima! Dort wo etwas nicht beantwortet werden kann, kann ein Kommentar (auch mit Foto) hinterlassen werden.
Einzige Voraussetzung ist ein Account bei OpenStreetMap (kann in der App angelegt werden) und los geht's.
Ich muss sagen dass ich die Seestadt damit bis in den letzten Winkel kennenlernen werde. Einige Winkel hab ich schon die letzten Tage kennengelernt, wäre ich sonst nie hingekommen.
Nebenbei gehe ich zu Fuß und kann helfen OSM noch besser zu machen als es schon ist.
The new "money or data" policy of #Seznam made me explore #OSM based apps and I'm really surprised how good they have become.
And #StreetComplete? It's best fun since I was "stumbling" to help Mozilla Location Service 10 years ago. 🙂
BTW any tip for a good map app that shows #hiking trails? I like #OrganicMaps, but I can't make the app show them. 🤷
Seit längerem mal wieder in #StreetComplete rein geschaut und da hat sich ja einiges getan!
Es können inzwischen in zwei Overlays "Orte" (z.B. Geschäfte) und "Dinge" (z.B. Hydranten, Bänke, Mülleimer) neu erstellt werden. Das ist ein Gamechanger für mich und ich hab gleich den ganzen Heimweg mit Hydranten gemappt. :awesome: Das war mir mit anderen Mitteln bisher zu umstänglich. Gibt auch noch andere für mich neue Dinge, da muss ich die Tage noch ein paar mal los. #OSM
@schenklklopfer ja, finde ich auch 🤓👍 andere meinen dagegen, #StreetComplete sei eine "Sackgasse", weil man damit die Grundlagen und Hintergründe nicht lernt. Aber es ist einfach so motivierend, dass es mE auch die Motivation enorm steigern kann, die Grundlagen dann lernen zu wollen, wenn man mehr machen möchte... @robert
Post und DHL verwenden neuerdings OpenStreetMap als Grundlage für ihre Karten 👍
Wenn sie jetzt noch OSM für die Standorte ihrer Briefkästen und Packstationen benutzen würden, könnte man sich viel Sucherei sparen. OSM ist oft viel genauer, als die Standorte der Post.
@jomo jetzt wollte ich gerade ergänzen, dass man das auch gut ergänzen kann z.b. per #streetcomplete
Hab aber dann gemerkt, dass das gar nicht geht... Muss man doch einen anderen Editor nehmen...

My question is when you think it will be available the transports maps to use like on #googlemaps ? Since is the only why a lot of people, most of them, are not using #OrganicMaps 🙂
