is divisive?
What about the Real division in Australia. The one between the health and wellbeing of Indigenous Australians compared to non-Indigenous Australians.
Let's bring equity to this unbalanced situation.

I’ll be voting YES because I want to live in a country that recognises 65,000 years of Indigenous culture in our constitution. Listening through a Voice means we will work together to create a better future for all of us.

This is getting some traction - as it should. Voting Yes is simple because the question and mechanics of what it means are simple. Let alone the fact that doing so will go a small part of the way to undoing the harm white colonisation has done in the past 235 years.
Don't be ignorant.

The ‘no’ voters seem very concerned about conserving the state of the constitution. How many of them do you think have ever actually read it?

Not a chance it is more than 2%

I’m gonna say this loud and proud. With NO Content warning. I am very happy to support an Indigenous voice to parliament enshrined in the Australian constitution. It means the govt of the day can’t just scrap some legislation and leave our indigenous people with no voice to be heard. Improving our constitution this way is an important act. I’ll be voting YES! If you’re thinking of voting no, hit me up, I’d love to have a chat about your concerns with what might happen.

I made it to Airport after a hectic morning pre-polling. And my flight's not cancelled! Here I come, WA, with a simple message: ! ❤️

Louis Clegg is just gaslighting in this interview.

Entrenching The Voice in the constitution for one small group of people is not just any group it’s the original inhabitants of the last 65,000 years!

She makes the point why The Voice is actually necessary in the the constitution, as current laws for protective measures against discrimination “can be tinkered with so when the balance gets out of whack parliaments can change them” That is, they’re subject to political whim

Simplifying the pathway to advising Parliament is one part of the .
The other is overdue recognition of the Indigenous people living in Australia when Europeans colonised it, declaring it empty.
Both are small steps but very important for us to grow as a Nation.

No is old.
It's negative. It's harmful. It's destructive.
It's failing First Nations Australians.

Voting No will not result in a treaty
It will result in another 100 years of the status quo

Oh mate. So quick to let Australians off the hook. But (individual) racism won't just be 'to blame', it will be an act of structural racism.

@golgaloth .
The way the no campaign has been carrying on, it’d be a major embarrassment to be throwing in with that lot 🤣
But the reason to vote yes is it’s good for all Australians.
