@ZachWeinersmith LOL.
In France, we don't usually have washcloths but "wash gloves."
Not actually a glove, but two washcloths sewn together on three sides if you want.
Apparently, it's called "washing mitt" in English (TIL too)
At day's end, I tied up the boat near a Canal & River Trust service shack: water, elsan, toilets and shower.
A shower! 🚿
I hurried from the boat to the CRT building in only my shorts, T-shirt and shoes, towel and soap in hand. (These places lack clothes hooks, so fewer items is better.) They did have a wooden bench, and a disabled grab handle that I used as a towel rack.
Gather round for today's episode of Tales from the Washing Line. The results are in: dry, if a little crispy round the edges.
I can live with that 🤣 #Life#Washing
Washing's on the line lads. Let's play a game of "will Mia be able to tell whether it's dry, or just frozen?" in a couple of hours.
Stay tuned for updates!
I had a catastrophic coffee accident, so about half of a large one ended up on my sweater—which I was wearing for the first time! It’s 100% merino, mostly white with splashes of pastelly-neon 😭
Does anyone have tricks and recs to get the stain (latte with sugar) out without ruining the hand-dye job? #Knitting#Washing#Stains
Crazy fool that I am, I've put my washing out on the line. Taking bets on whether I remember it's there before it starts raining 😬🤣
Edit: It did start raining about an hour later.
It then got sunny again, and is now dry. I win! #life#washing#gamble
I just washed the car, otherwise right now is the PERFECT time for pulling out a bucket and some (biodegradable) soap. #car#washing#Hilary (torrential rain... free water!)
