Today, though, new helper was unhappy and unproductive. Likely crept into the shed last night and I unknowingly locked it in overnight. Oops. #WhiteTailedDeer #Fawn
Hmmm ... I thought this photo was sharper when I picked it. Anyway, this white-tailed deer (Odocoileus virginianus) fawn was in my yard a couple days ago. I peeked over my fence only to be confronted by mamma deer. Mamma deer took off into the forest and this fawn followed.
"The white-tailed deer (Odocoileus virginianus), also known commonly as the whitetail and the Virginia deer, is a medium-sized species of deer native to North America, Central America, and South America as far south as Peru and Bolivia, where it predominately inhabits high mountain terrains of the Andes." - wikipedia.org
