Quello che non si capisce, in questa era iperliberista e così attenta al centesimo, è perché gli stati debbano usare i soldi del contribuente per pagare le licenze d'uso di programmi (chiusi) prodotti da aziende private.

Nell'UE in casi simili questi sarrebbero probabilmente considerati indebiti aiuti di stato.

La ragionevolezza mi sembra imponga un passaggio generalizzato ai sistemi liberi.

La solidarietà è la cura del liberismo.

Dare armi all'Ucraina significa che potenzialmente dei russi moriranno. Non dare armi all'Ucraina significa invece che potenzialmente degli ucraini moriranno. Sbaglio?

Cosa fare? Di certo, non invitare al martirio gli altri (poi uno per sé fa come vuole). Le mie soluzioni ideali le ho, ma la storia non è gentile.

Hi everyone. I am a left leaning pacifist who hates wars and propaganda alike.

Discussing the Middle East makes me really sick, because I see Palestinian propaganda running wild unrecognized by "the west", and then I see toxic narratives being spread by the Israeli far right.

I have been trying not to comment but from time to time a I cannot keep myself.

I'll say it again:
Zionists = the absolute 99.999 percent of Jews.
If you try and make that difference, because you know a few American or European Jews or even are so yourself - you are giving into tokenizing Jews.
You can separate black people from the organisation of BLM, you can also say that some black people don't believe that black lives matter at all. But you can not say that black people (in west) and the BLM movement are completely separate.
Stop tokenizing Jews and all minorities.

Why should Jews only be deprived of a right that all the other enjoy ex the UN Charter?

I also want to add this: I am against the settlers movement. Borders change with time and what once was Israel may be something else today. Palestinians too have rights.

And the war in Gaza is awful (I would be a sarvan/cnscientious objector in Israel) but if you do not want war you must resort to diplomacy. And when the only words from diplomacy one hears usually are "everything is always Israel's fault" how can you expect Israel to trust diplomacy.

Good question. But it seems to me that the original opposition to a two state solution, to a one state federation, to anything... was in fact by the Arabs countries in the area weaponizing Palestinian hopes and suffering; and that has been consistently so for decades.

Non so se avete visto l'intervista di di Tucker Carlson a Putin, e mi sto chiedendo se postarla qui. Da un lato è un'intervista che a mio avviso attesta la storica autosmentita di Putin nei confronti di se stesso e rivela forse anche parte del suo pensiero (ma a priori di un bugiardo è difficile fidarsi fino in fondo); dall'altro non voglio farmi portavoce di una propaganda basata su una grassa e ignorante semplificazione che va contro tutte le acquisizioni del pensiero accademico...

Nella visione corrente se purtroppo qualcuno ci frega non è lui ad essere disonesto, ma è colpa nostra che non siamo stati abbastanza furbi.

Questa mentalità è perfino incorporata a livello semantico nella lingua italiana e - con Whorf - determina la visione del mondo degli italofoni, anche i non nativi.

Se saper aggirare la legge significa essere furbo, allora l'altra coppia concettuale che si genera è quella del rispettare la legge, che significa essere fesso.

In questi giorni ricorre l'indipendenza della Lituania, che era come noto oggetto del patto di spartizione del'Europa (Molotov-Ribbentrop) tra Germania nazista e URSS e conseguentmente occupata da Mosca. L'opposizione di Gorbachëv all'indipendenza dei pribaltika (Estonia Lettonia Lituania) fu a mio avviso un suo errore, perché Stalin, firmando il patto con la Germania, aveva messo oggettivamente l'URSS dalla parte del torto e lui si trovò e lui si trovò a ratificare quel torto.

È interessante notare il ruolo dell'azione nonviolenta da parte della popolazione lituana, che scesa nelle strade senza armi in un contesto di militarizzazione crescente della crisi, costrinse l'Armata Rossa a desistere dal tentare di riprendersi il paese.
