I feel like I've had more opportunities to roleplay lately, but I'm still kind of struggling to get an ongoing story going that's exciting to me like stuff I've gotten to do in the past. It seems hard to make up stuff on the spot to escape just characters idly talking to each other; I have tried a bit, though I have learned that things that are exciting to me aren't always things other people also care about.

I think our answering machine just baffled a robocall. After getting past our introduction something spurted out "Hi, I'm Becky Brick[?]'"and then stopped.

Or maybe it's just that Becky Brick is really happy with herself and is sharing the news. No reason that the self-affirmation euphoria has to only be shared on fedi servers.
