Many more people are jumping from one streaming subscription to another, a behavior that could have big implications for the entertainment industry....
I really don’t understand why streaming business are so surprised. They are providing television for rent and users are renting it plain and simple. They seem to think they are entitled to lengthy subscriptions from users when in reality they aren’t providing a service that’s even stable or worth it.
Okay I don’t really like Cradle of Filth but my husband does. But I really really like their cover of Iron Maiden’s “Hallowed Be Thy Name.” Somehow the cover has more energy than the original.
Can confirm I am a Linux lurker who would love to learn all this cool shit but right now I don’t have the time/mental fortitude to wade through all the bullshit and experiment. I already do that enough with power platform at work and I know that I know nothing. It’s exhilarating and tiresome. It would be great if we could have some “training wheels” type of community on here to help new users out.
What good is getting a diagnosis if you can’t pay for the treatment. I’m stuck in this position right now. American health insurance is nothing but a glorified discount plan/coupon book scam.
Do you get lab tests done or annual vaccinations? Because many components used in these products are also provided from processing blood donations. Blood donations are never wasted as everything gets used for something in healthcare. Check out the AABB site for more information. Blood donations are a true gift.
I believe the only time it is designed like that is for autologous donations. That is where you donate specifically for yourself ahead of time for a procedure. This is really helpful for people with special blood needs or religious exemptions but it’s not really done too often. The only other case I can think of off the top of my head is that new moms can have cord blood banked for personal future use or donate it to stem cell research.
Technically this is a grey area and they are blatantly misusing the exception for court order/warrant rule. HIPAA just states that records must be turned over but doesn’t get into details concerning how much or how little should be provided. I really can’t believe the judge allowed this but I suspect (hopeful anyway)that this will get kicked up to a federal court since federal law supercedes state laws.
As a transfem, it’s probably not a surprise that I get disphoric about a certain area. Tucking normally doesn’t really work for me because it leaves tape residue everywhere, hurts like hell to remove the tape and is super inconvenient (even though it’s medical tape). My idea: there has to be at least some underwear that is...
Yea I don’t think we’re getting the whole story here. I’m very certain that the hospital knew that records were being manipulated. The sheer number of people who have to look at and interact with a patient’s chart guarantees that others knew of the manipulation occuring. The whole “restructuring” comment is not a good look either. I hope the whole system is sued into oblivion.
I mean the most obvious malicious compliance here would be to make a bus line that runs to the tiny little parking lot at the entrance. Nothing the wealthy hate more than public transportation in their backyard.
If it makes you feel better I love junk flyers because it’s free bird cage liners for me. And the nicer quality the paper the easier it is to clean up after my birds. I’ve actually had friends save their junk mail for me.
You are right though, this is a wonderful story of community coming together. I think much of the support isn’t really monetary but an outpouring of love trying to help a little girl cope with her loss. But I do agree that no one should have to experience monetary stress in times of crisis. We can all do better all of the time, not just some of the time.
Humans need approx 1tsp (or less) of sodium daily as an essential nutrient. I was low on sodium this morning* then spent the day at the beach in the salty ocean air, then within about 30 minutes I wasn’t dizzy and nauseous anymore. Did the ocean air provide me sodium somehow?...
I too have to consciously give myself a little extra sodium due to diet issues. I buy a single bottle of Gatorade every week and take a swallow before bed every night. That seems so do the trick for me and I don’t have to change what I eat.
The only product specifically listed in the article is Thinx underwear. The article said they recently settled a class action lawsuit. I too would love to know which product have this crap in it. I might be a cheap bitch but I don’t skimp on stuff like period products.
Hi All! Sorry I missed the last couple of weeks. Life got in the way a bit. This is really only like a week and a half of progress. I had a week of basically no stitching time. I am so close to the halfway point! 2 over 1 on 18 count....
I had a blood panel yesterday, and it said that my blood magnesium level is 2.4 milligrams per deciliter, which the health portal called high. I looked up magnesium levels and what I’m seeing is that normal is between 1.7 and 2.3 and possible hypermagnesemia is 2.6....
So when it comes to lab testing normal ranges may slightly differ between laboratories and their testing methods. This is why you may see slightly different ranges when researching normal levels online. Always go with the normal ranges given on the lab report. I don’t think you have to worry too much about being slightly over on the high side of the range. This value could be falsely increased due to things like dehydration or medications. Definitely voice your concerns with your doctor and they can explain to you how this one result fits in with the bigger picture of your whole chemistry panel.
