BmeBenji,

Despite the privacy concerns, Microsoft says that the Recall index remains local and private on-device, encrypted in a way that is linked to a particular user’s account.

Just like how Microsoft domain-bound emails were stored locally on machines running Outlook, right? Or how purchasing and downloading music, movies, and video games meant that we owned them, right?

I don’t believe for a fucking second that this “feature” will remain locally encrypted forever. Fuck Microsoft, fuck the AI bubble.

“Don’t be evil!

wait, you say you’ll pay me to be evil? Well fuck that changes everything!”

At what point is violence on a large scale justified?

I know this is a really vague question, but it’s been on my mind A LOT lately. I’m specifically asking about people fighting on behalf of a group that is subject to oppression of some kind. 3 years ago, with all of the protests in America that included violence majorly against property and minorly against people but were...

BmeBenji,

Probably the most outdated thing about it was how it was clearly written and developed for the male gaze. I don’t even mean the sex cards, I mean how Triss and Shani are purely there as objects of attraction with hardly any personality aside from being sexy women.

BmeBenji,

When was the last time you checked? And where? And how deep in the sand was your head when you did so?

BmeBenji,

I voted for Gary Johnson because Hillary sounded awful in 2016 and I 1000x regret it. Fuck this system for making me choose between bad and worse, but yes obviously I have to choose bad over worse.

BmeBenji,

I’m confused about what is street level and what is curb level but I do like how it appears to prioritize safety of pedestrians and cyclists over everything

BmeBenji,

Thanks! I think I was mostly confused at first because I’ve never seen an intersection of two-way streets that requires cars to turn before

BmeBenji,

It really pisses me off how right-wingers will look at this and believe they can honestly identify left-leaning politics as fascist by all of these indicators

BmeBenji,

Yeah, hero based-shooters haven’t been good since that one with the dumb name that came out in 2007. What was it called again? Squad Castle 2 or something?

BmeBenji,

This image never fails to make me laugh, like legitimately laugh out loud with my full belly

BmeBenji,

My life has definitely gotten better since I started doing this. Local restaurants are almost universally better anyways

BmeBenji,

Correct me if I’m wrong, but doesn’t the lore of the Legend of Zelda change from game to game based on whatever flavor of knight-saves-princess story framing best suits the gameplay progression? How is this going to be a unique movie? Why does it benefit from the Zelda branding other than to generate franchise hype?

BmeBenji,

Let’s Start a Riot?

BmeBenji,

I have no complaints about this game. Everytime I play it something puts a smile on my face. The details in every element are wonderful - the environments are gorgeous and interactive, the action figures are beautifully textured and animated, and the enemies are diverse in both appearance and behavior. The guns, tower defense tools, and platforming are all fun too. I really hope this Xbox release gives it a big playerbase boost. The devs have put so much love into it.

BmeBenji,

Hot take: this shit is delicious. And I hate both Flaming Hot Cheetos and Takis.

It tastes wholly unnatural and looks more radioactive than my aunt from Hanford but daggum if it doesn’t taste wonderfully spicy and cheesy (in a velveeta kind of way)

BmeBenji,
BmeBenji,

Wow… that sounds really bad for the economy
