Investing in LEGO is now more lucrative than gold and it's more inflation-proof than cash with the value of unopened sets rising by 11% annually (according to some reports). Maybe I should hold on to our sons Ninjago sets? 🤔

I do worry sometimes when I post photos of all the new manga/games/othercoolshit that I've bought, that people might think I'm just showing off or whatever, but then I remember how much I love looking at pics of other people's cool stuff that they've got

Share your stuff. I want to see your collections of nice things that make you happy. There's too many terrible negative things online that someone going "look at this awesome thing I have, isn't it great!" is a good thing imo

My favourite game for my favourite system. A game that changed my life. The first SMT game I ever played, which led me to playing Persona (and emptied my bank account)

This game is a masterpiece of game design and storytelling, with branching paths and multiple endings, and choices that actually matter. Plus stellar character design by Suzuhito Yasuda

Saturday morning movie "Cops vs Thugs" (dir. Kinji Fukasaku, 1975) this is an absolutely fantastic film. A story of corrupt cops and warring Yakuza gangs set in 1963. I really enjoyed this, some great performances, most notably Bunta Sugawara as Detective Kuno

My delivery probably isn't gonna arrive until mid afternoon, I've known this for days. It's 8:30 am and I'm already contemplating firing up the PS5 and just buying the digital version so I can start downloading it now

Patience is not my strong point. Gonna fire up Bayonetta Origins instead and try and find all the items I missed

Here's some pics while it's installing, big box. Arrived undamaged which is amazing really when you consider that Amazon's "premium" delivery doesn't even include an outer cardboard box it was handed over to me just in its shrink-wrap (which was torn)

FFS this has to be one of the worst translation errors in a game I've ever seen, just for the sheer amount of frustration it caused. So I've been playing the new on Switch, a brutally hard roguelike dungeon crawler

When you die in a dungeon (which you will a lot) you're supposed to be able to send a "rescue request" so that other players online can make it to your location and revive you

Except this option wouldn't appear for me

Sometimes you get a good run where RNG smiles upon you and you get a nice combination of items, make it further than you ever have before, then get surrounded by ninjas or whatever and die immediately. Be nice to get rescued right? Without the request option it's back to level 1 in the starting village, lose all your gear, sucks to be you!

Anyway, this option in settings literally does the opposite of what it says. Set it to "off" if you want to be rescued 😡

That's right! Set it to "Off" and you'll be able to request rescue if you die in a dungeon!
