Months before Trump was indicted for mishandling classified documents, a federal judge said that investigators had “strong evidence” that the former president “intended” to hide classified documents at his Mar-a-Lago resort, according to newly released court documents.

Colorado and South Dakota will have amendments on their November ballots to protect abortion access.

The South Dakota petition had enough signatures to get on the ballot, but people can still challenge it until June 17.

Colorado's Secretary of State gave the go-ahead for an amendment to enshrine abortion access in the state constitution.

Justice Clarence Thomas calls criticism of him ‘nastiness’ and ‘lies’

Another example of ... 🤔

"Vinegar calling lemonjuice sour"

Justice Thomas gives some of his most detailed comments since the news last year about businessman Harlan Crow paying for his trips, real estate deals and calls to recuse himself from cases related to the 2020 election because of his wife’s involvement with efforts to block President Biden’s victory.

Federal judge halts new U.S. rules limiting credit card late fees ...

This is another reason why voting for a party that has your best interest (Democrats) is so important.

Republican’s have spent decades reshaping the courts because they knew the demographics were changing and their unpopular ideology was losing them votes and races.

So ... they devised a plan to be able to supersede laws they don’t agree with appointing judges in favor of their agenda.

Fast forward to now. Every time a Democratic administration attempts to do something good for the people, it is struck down by the courts
If the SCOTUS can strike down Roe, then anything can happen.

Americans are going to have to feel a lot more pain before they understand what’s going on. Then it will be too late. But there’s still a slim window to fix things, and that's by voting all Republican’s/MAGA's out of office.

Vote Blue upper and down the ballot 2024!

Biden's Cancer Moonshot initiative is Congress' latest partisan casualty

However, with the ever-present dysfunction of Congress, maybe predictably, the program has been stalled. Some Republicans, refusing to give Biden a “win,” voted against the renewal of funding.

Even though this would be a win for all Americans and humanity it apparently did not outweigh the politics of making a Democrat look good. This is the definition of party over country.

What would a second Trump term really look like?

You no longer need to guess ...

Regardless of one's personal stance on these matters, it is crucial to acknowledge and understand Trump's stated intentions, as outlined in two extensive interviews with TIME magazine. Ignoring these intentions is no longer tenable, as they have been made public and unambiguous.

Louisiana Lawmakers Move to Criminalize Possession of Abortion Pills ...

Louisiana legislators are proposing an amendment to criminalize the possession of mifepristone and misoprostol, commonly used abortion pills. This unexpected addition to a bill initially focused on criminalizing "coerced criminal abortion by means of fraud" has surprised abortion advocates and OB-GYNs in the state.

@ClintBarton *Republican Louisiana legislators.

Republicans are also trying to eliminate the ability for anyone anywhere in the country to be able to obtain a legal and safe over the counter medication. People out there ought to think about that when planning to vote.

One administration will do things like this
from a few months ago. The other one won’t.

A federal appellate court in Richmond made a big decision. They said that health insurance plans in states have to cover surgeries that help transgender people feel more like themselves.

This is a huge win for transgender rights, especially since there's been a lot of pushback against them.

@ClintBarton All the “elections don’t matter” people and “both parties are the same” people should read this article. Judges on the 4th Circuit, like judges on all 13 Circuit Courts of Appeals, are chosen by the President of the United States.

Every judge appointed by a Democratic President, including several appointed over the last few years by President Biden, supported this decision for healthcare for transgender people. Every judge appointed by a Republican dissented.

Supreme Court appears open to some presidential immunity for Trump, risking delays ....

The Supreme Court justices were like, "Nah, I don't think so," when Trump's lawyers said he couldn't be held accountable for trying to overthrow the government or have someone killed.

NY AG,, Letitia James, filed a request on Friday seeking the invalidation of Trump's bond in the ongoing civil fraud case against him.
The concern raised by James revolves around the financial capability of the company that issued the bond, Knight Specialty Insurance Company, to fully secure the $175 million bond amount.

Additionally, she emphasized the need for the collateral provided by the former president to be under the complete control of the insurance company.
