@slcw I was impressed by the slow response time of the local handlers in this incident vs the quick action of his peers in Washington. They had, as it’s said, one job, and they royally fucked it up. If that were my boss at the podium, I would have been there with the cart rolling him out like a refrigerator within seconds.

The only problem with losing Mitch is they will replace him with someone even more awful. God. Damn.

Not to toot my own horn, but I was the one who survived the great Canadian goose attack of 2019 when I ran across the New Hope-Lambertville bridge at 5 am and was dive bombed by two Canadian geese. They stole my baseball cap and I screamed the screams of the damned as I ran for safety.
But I survived.

@dancinyogi I have found, here in the early autumn of my life, a spoon works fine - if not even better - for a broad spectrum of food items.

Call me a savage if you must. You probably won’t because this isn’t [whispers] the other place. I just accidentally came across this truth and have run with it ever since. 🤷‍♂️
