📷 Christmas, 1968 | "Santa" brought me a Pioneer Stereo with AM/FM, turntable and speakers. I learned later, my Great Uncle was Santa that year; money was tight, Mom said when she told me the story.

My parents let my older brother (13) pick out a few LPs to wrap and place next to the stereo under the tree.

The "Electric Ladyland" cover amazed me and was probably the first time I understood what photography and design could be: "pictures."
