HeyJoe,

Ps+ top tier. I always had ps+ since it’s what I have always used. I always used to renew at black Friday to get a year for about 33% less and once they did the plan change a few years ago I swooped in and brought up a bunch of cheap years since the price was going up. I have until spring next year before it’s finally over. Not sure if I will renew, not because it’s bad (which I don’t think it is at all) but because I barely have time to get anything out of it, sadly. There was some great moments where I stopped buying games and just enjoying the triple A ones they gave every month. Now I just don’t have time to play anything… maybe one day I’ll be free again.

HeyJoe,

For a second, I was like, how can this even work? I and T were already on the board, so how did they expect the first word right to work. Then I read some of the articles, and it was the round where letters flip over one by one until the first person answers it.

HeyJoe,

Don’t forget the other crazy part. His own mother is a medical physicist that is the complete opposite of his definition of what he believes women should be. I was going to say those head injuries are true, then I realized he is only a kicker…

HeyJoe,

I will start thinking outside the box going forward, but for my job this year, I was asked to write several company communications, which I never normally have to, and it wrote both for me almost perfectly. Took me about 5 minutes to edit them after and that was it. If I did this on my own, it easily could have been over an hour for each, I really hate that stuff.

HeyJoe,

My kid is the same way. He does play a few things, but he has zero interest in any of the games I play. He won’t even watch, just says this game looks boring… I now know what my parents felt when I didn’t want to do the things they wanted me to.

Americans are choking on surging fast-food prices. "I can't justify the expense," one customer says (www.cbsnews.com)

Kevin Roberts remembers when he could get a bacon cheeseburger, fries and a drink from Five Guys for $10. But that was years ago. When the Virginia high school teacher recently visited the fast-food chain, the food alone without a beverage cost double that amount....

HeyJoe,

Same here, but the reason this doesn’t work is because a bic Mac meal doesn’t cost $15. It’s more like $10 or even lower with deals. If you are on a budget and have no time to cook, I can see how the cheaper option can still sway the decision. For me, it’s lower than that and will settle for Wendy’s 4 for 5. At $5 bucks, it’s absolutely worth it every now and then when I just want something cheap and quick.

I prefer to buy video games without knowing anything about them

When I hear about a new game, I usually read the first sentence or two on Wikipedia. I rule out games described as certain genres or types, like soulslike or online-only multiplayer games. Then, I check reviews on a site like Metacritic. If the critic or user reviews (doesn’t need to be both) are good enough, I add it to a...

HeyJoe,

The ones that kill me these days are the TV show ones where at the end of episode one they feel the need to give you a trailer for what your about to see. Noooo just stop! Who wants that! Gotta rush to get the remote to turn it off…

HeyJoe,

He’s full of shit and they will continue to blame it on the wrong reasons.

HeyJoe,

It’s only a little over a year old by now and even the first release was better than most of the stuff out there, but what it is today makes it better than anything I have ever used before on my phone and that includes premium apps like Spotify. At this point, I can’t even think of stuff I would need anymore, but I can’t wait to see what the next year brings.

Another note, the developer also created yatse, which I used over a decade ago as my remote control for kodi. Also equally as awesome as this is. He is very good at what he does, haha.

HeyJoe,

I have a library that’s been growing for about 20 years now. I don’t think I got too serious until around 2009, which is when I discovered music servers to host my library and quickly realized how bad its structure was. It took years of me getting folders done correctly followed by then working on tags. Automation scared me to much since the results were not always 100%. Once it was done I have kept a system to keep it that way the best I can.

So for me once I get new content I use the app tagscanner to edit everything to the way I like, then I drop them into music Picard were I found a tutorial online a few years ago to set it up to just edit music genres. I found the one thing I never got right was music genres so finding this tool was incredible. Took months to run large sections of the library though. Now I got every track labeled with up to 5 genre tags. Once that is done I change folder names to what I want, drop them into my music directory folder which is root > artist > album (don’t care about year since it’s tagged). Scan music into my musicbee app and if any are missing covers I right click and tell it to find them. Then do a scan with navidrome to add it all there.

HeyJoe,

Everything I do is manual, I don’t really have duplicates unless I get singles then get the album once it releases. Even then, unless the single comes with extra bonus tracks (seems to be a lost past time, never see this anymore) I will delete the singles after.

Here is the forum post I originally found years ago to setup music picard to tag multiple genres, which is the only setup that I have that took extra effort and not just use out of the box defaults.

HeyJoe,

Would have been cool if they made a modern day remake of this episode when the series came back.

HeyJoe,

So you’re saying we need to find and download all the pirated versions of games and keep them in our emergency bunker?

HeyJoe,

I agree, I only came here in July after they finally followed through with pulling the plug on 3rd party apps. This place has grown a lot in 1 year. Still needs more communities for the smaller hobbies, plus less memes and political content, and it would be perfect. 99% of everyone I talk with here is super nice and helpful as well.

HeyJoe,

Speaking of FF7, I am just about finished with Rebirth and all I thought was wow I didn’t see a single update and it played flawlessly. Just shows it can still happen, just super rare.

HeyJoe,

Trust me, no it’s not… now if we had some kind of plan to help parents eliminate most or all of daycare costs then that would absolutely help with the decision to have one. The child tax credit is nice, but it barely helps with anything.

HeyJoe,

No, home and pro EOL are the same date as enterprise. Enterprise editions are allowed the extra time because Microsoft already knows an insane amount of businesses will not be fully moved off 10 by that date and instead of making themselves look bad, they setup this program to tell everyone hey where here for you and also ready to make an insane amount of bonus money.

Idk if the article also mentions, but every year after the first, the price increases for each additional year. The did this with Windows 7 as well, I know all about it because I work for a company that had to do it for 2 years. Once the time comes you replace the systems license with a new key that continues to allow updates to work.

HeyJoe,

Well, one other thing in the 70s was everyone kind of lived a simpler life anyway. Not many had really luxurious things, and most places weren’t trying to be anything fancy. It’s just a place to live and the basics for most. I love what we have today, but I also miss those times as well since nobody cared if your place of living wasn’t up to date with all the luxeries we come to take for granted as necessities or judged for possibly not having them.

HeyJoe,

That’s because they really just want the dumbest followers to be the ones to take the first step and sacrifice themselves. Why do it themselves when they can just complain about it long enough until some idiot goes and murders someone “for the cause”.

HeyJoe,

I currently use Navidrome as well, but I really don’t use smart playlists like that. For me, I use Symfonium on Android, which offers a ton of options and is incredible. In all my years of using a personal server to host music, this app has been the best by a lot. As for desktop apps, I don’t use them much, but when I do, I use Musicbee, which also offers unlimited customization if you’re willing to put time into it. It used to have a subsonic plug-in, but I have no idea if it’s still active. I just use the local file location and treat it as its own entity. If the subsonic plug-in still works, it may allow you to do what you want since everything seems possible in Musicbee from my experience.

HeyJoe,

Maybe that’s exactly what they want. Being able to buy anything gets old. They now want the things money can’t buy. Sadly, those things are normally dark evil things, like seeing the poor suffer!

HeyJoe,

I would also say that cameras were probably not that common to be held by kids back then either. I would say there is a good chance whoever took the photo was an adult as well.

HeyJoe,

Sadly I feel like this tradition is drying up more and more each year. I remember like 10-15 years ago tons of sites did really big things for the day. I honestly forgot today was April 1st until I saw this post. I miss it.
