    @Cat_LeFey I learned tuirgin, transmigration of the souls. That's why its so important for all three souls to be unified at death, & why we do all this purification & self work to take as little baggage with us as possible.

    Some occult texts are riddled with misinformation and misdirection purposefully and knowingly included by the author. Sometimes called "blinds," their purpose is to obfuscate the secrets contained within the text, and to prevent or sabotage the work of the uninitiated who attempt to use the text without the proper knowledge, training, or experience.

    Always made me wonder, since they're expecting the reader to already know what's in the book, why write the book in the first place?
    Reminds me of the people who'd bring something up then be "here I must draw the veil" trying to be mysterious.

    The only thing I ever found that helped was CBD cannabis. It puts a dent in it but that's all. I mean, a dent is better than nothing, less pain is better than full pain but it's still pain 😔

    @Cat_LeFey had an interesting poll on the classic ritual objects.

    Does anyone else have an unusual object or type of object they use in their practice?

    For instance, I use an Octohedron that I had custom 3D printed for me. It's about the size of a honeydew melon. It's silver in color.

    I had a trance this morning that determined I should write or inscribe certain words on the eight sides. I'm considering this but I don't want to ruin it. It's very elegant as it is.

    A handspun cord for traditional practice

    Everything that has to do with gardening or planting is pretty much done here in zone 4. Actually, we've already had two overnight frosts.

    For me, this is when the season has officially begun; when all the seeds are collected, the tools are put away, and the garden is left to decompose.
