Just because the competition fucking sucks ass doesn’t mean the best one has a monopoly. 🤦‍♂️ There is still competition… It’s just weak as shit.

Maybe if the competition stepped up and offered similar services and functions, they wouldn’t need to pull bullshit like Epic is with exclusivity deals, and actually take some market share.

GOG Galaxy is a decent one. It actually offers a lot of what makes Steam so strong. It’s still not as good, but they also deal with a certain niche area of gaming, making even their store more relevant than EGS, Origin, etc.

I saw an episode of Young and the Restless or One Life to Live (they’re all so similar and I am not a fan personally) a while back after I thought that show ended when I was a kid. It was pretty much exactly what I remembered. Hell, for all I know the episode I watched most recently was set only 2 days after the last one I saw with my mom when I was 10.

They’ve always been over the top and batshit crazy.

Dairy-free ice cream is a thing. And it’s incredibly prevalent right now. My personal favorite non-dairy ice cream is actually rice based. Rice Dreams is really good 🤤

I thought they were neat when they were the first smart phone I handled. But when I got to try out some 'droids at the store when buying my first device, I liked the interface better and knowing they were more open and customizable, not to mention way fucking cheaper, it was no contest. The only Apple product I ever really thought had no equal was the first couple generations of iPod.

It also generally isn’t a primary hobby. It’s something they do for like an hour at most at a time, specifically to kill time. You’re not gonna discuss nuance and other, deeper things about gaming in general without having them glaze over.
