A trip to the bank. Go to the pharmacy to get Mom's Rx. Go to the Verizon store to get Mom a new phone. Possibly a trip to the optometrist to see about getting me new glasses.

All of these hinge on Mom getting her ass up & moving. I've been ready to go for 2 hours.

Mom lost the key to our mailbox the first week I was in the hospital. (She took it off my carabiner clip instead of just taking the whole thing) Today the Rental Office brought me a new key and our accumulated mail. Shout outs to @skaly & @BenHigbie for the #happymail

1. The nurse that got pissy with me last night had to come in and kiss my butt tonight. (Evil Lioness is starting to rear her head again)

2. One of the guys in group is being released tomorrow, so we all got to toast him with mini ice cream cups.

3. Video chat with my Boo Berry. He rubbed his face all over Mom's phone & purred for 10 minutes. Yes, I'm a crazy cat lady. No, I'm not ashamed of it.

1. They found a recliner for my room so I can sit up & read/stitch comfortably this weekend instead of being in bed or the wheelchair.

2. Received a beautiful faux orchid & candle from the phone report unit AND 2 of the bosses dropped by with some puzzle magazines for me.

3. The old coot in the room next door challenged me to a wheelchair race.

Day 4 in rehab. I'm not allowed to stand & shower, but I've had 2 chair showers and feel SO much better. Still haven't been able to wash my hair as the supply chain is dragging their feet on getting me a replacement cervical collar. The amount of time I can stand & the distance I can walk are increasing daily.
No scheduled PT on weekends, but my therapist gave me some exercises that I can do in my room either seated or in bed.

Y'all. #Today I can walk 20-30 feet, mostly bathe & get dressed with just a little assistance. I'm sitting up in a wheelchair chair today between sessions because I was sick of being in bed! Dr was just in and my target date for going home is 2/17.

I had to promise not to try to get up & do anything on my own. However, I did not promise not to take the wheelchair for a spin down the hallway...
