    Please, please, please put the RSS indicator back in Firefox.

    People need to know about this technology which empowers users over greedy, controlling corporations.

    Update: As many have pointed out, you can use @thunderbird as an RSS feed reader, and there are many #firefox add-ons to restore the RSS indicator (one of which I'm already using). But my point is that Firefox needs to lean into RSS as an answer to all the crap that is the modern web, and help educate users about it

    I have never considered the design of #DB 's official #ICE and #IC network map convincing. This was my motivation to create my own 🇩🇪 long-distance rail map a few years ago. It focuses more on systematic connections and their frequencies for better understanding rather than just showing every line.

    Wobei das Problem eher ist, das aktuell schon teilweise circa die Hälfte des Wassers in einer Region für die Beschneidung verwendet werden . Der CO2 Fußabdruck ist aber gar nicht so groß, wie man denkt.

    Im Vergleich zur Kreuzfahrten oder Flügen sind das Peanuts.

    Teilweise imitiert man das meiste CO2 bei der Anreise mit dem Auto. Aber da die meisten Leute nicht alleine anreisen und es auch viele gibt die mit Reisegruppen oder Zügen anreisen, ist das auch nicht so wild. Ca 80 kg co2 glaube ich hab ich damals ausgerechnet für eine Woche für den Skibetrieb pro Person

    @ebbesand @IngridAusOL @riffreporter klar wäre es besser, gerade wegen dem Grundwasser und auch und vor allen Dingen wegen der Zerstörung der Natur für Pisten etc. lieber nachhaltigere Formen des Urlaub zu finden die ist ja auch schon gibt.

    Wandern zum Beispiel.

    Ich halte mich an Fakten und versuche, nach bestem Wissen und Gewissen diese zu finden.

    Und mir geht es auch darum, die richtigen Argumente anzuführen.

    There is so much AI generated content farm crap flooding YouTube & other platforms that I am genuinely starting to doubt videos I get recommended. YouTube clearly can't spot what's real and what isn't and increasingly, neither can I. I've now found myself multiple times watching a video and needing minutes to realize I'm watching stolen footage & scripts, AI voices, etc. The scams are getting better and flooding the platform, at terrifying rates:

    Hier kam vorhin eine Frau mit Rollator nicht mehr durch. Mühsam war sie vorher über das kleine nicht zugeparkte Stück abgesenkter Bordstein auf den Gehweg gekommen. Am Laternenpfahl musste sie umdrehen. Davor brauchte sie erst einmal eine Pause.

    Imagine 2 disabled persons or a family walking.

    Actually, it was forbidden to park on public roads in Germany not so long ago.

    Cars keep increasing in size and nobody regulates this.

    Even firefighters can’t get trough with their trucks. The have to pay the damage if the plow trough.

    It’s still forbidden to park on the sidewalk unless it is marked.

    So no. Not at all

    @MJung ich finde es eine Schande, dass scheinbar die verbilligte Elektrodienstwagen weiterlaufen, aber die Förderung für die normalen Bürger mit Obergrenze gestrichen worden.

    Wir brauchen weniger Autos, und wir brauchen weniger extrem große, teure und ressourcenintensive Autos
