Been learning more about NMS and I guess I've not even explored like 5% of the options! It's huge! And I'm glad I have a sweet guide to help me learn and grow. ๐Ÿ˜Š Hopefully we'll have loads more coop hours ๐Ÿ˜‡

Of course I played some more NMS yesterday. Some solo, which was a bit scary when I made a jump as I'm a terrible flyer and I am even worse in space fights. But no pirates and I got to three planets on my own. But they weren't too kind to me, weather wise. And some had many sentinels.
May play some more this morning, depending on my blog progress. Need to fix one post to get it to 90% before tomorrow... Fingers crossed ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿป I can also game a bit. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Worked in gathering some more bits and... Got the ship repaired. Now, I need fancy upgrades (and I'd like it to have a different color but I guess that's very expensive as well ๐Ÿค”).
But... I present to you the "Arwenator".

No more red squares in the ship. Every bit has been repaired. The Arwenator is ready to be improved!

Played a little more solo No. Man's Sky and tried to repair some bits on the ship we found a while ago. It needs many repairs for sure...
And I tried to upgrade the gun, but I don't have a clue if I did right haha. Just trying out things ๐Ÿ˜Š.

Diary of an ASD Squirrel. Day 43 Monday 11/12/23

TL:DR My time management sucks ! ; I knew the positive streak was too good to last ! ;Iโ€™m totally focused . . โ€œoh look , squirrel!โ€™

Busy day today.

Up at the usual time, but mixed chatting with my bestie with a little NMS to try & get the Expedition moved fwd.
Iโ€™d like to say that I jumped to the whole ASD stuff after breakfast, but Iโ€™m back to being well enough for the game addiction to be present so lost another hour to that ๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ

I spent the morning fighting with the scanner to persuade it to scan the ASD Informant reports in & then collate them into the right order , came close to just chucking the thing out the window !

Spent a couple or 3 hours this afternoon playing NMS co-op , enjoyed it enormously , although did feel guilty that I had failed on concentrating on the ASD stuff left to do!

Late afternoon into this evening was spent summarising up my educational & employment history, boy have I done a lot of stuff ! I could have done without being reminded that 2012 was the last year I was able to work due to a massive MH breakdown.

A call with the elder of my sisters was a nice way to end the day.

Final Thoughts:

I rediscovered why I donโ€™t work anymore, having fought with a mix of the technology , my stubbornness to cough up to renew our MS 365 sub. & reminders going off left right & centre for stuff I had put on a back burner for today , I was thoroughly frustrated with everything by the time my Sister rang this evening, to the point where the cats & Mrs Squirrel had vacated the immediate vicinity and various pieces of tech were in severe danger of being lobbed across the room!

I donโ€™t do defeat, I do however work on the basis of a deadline to force me to do stuff, which then leads to frustration if stuff goes wrong!
To thoroughly misquote Yoda ,โ€œFrustration leads to anger , anger leads to hate , hate leads to the dark side ! โ€œ

Tomorrow morning will absolutely have to be dedicated to finishing this flipping ASD Self assessment report !

I can prevaricate for England it seems !

Weekend! And... Hopefully some gaming! I asked a dear friend to try No Man's Sky with me. I've played a little before with another friend but could not quite get the hang of it. So giving it a new go in a new coop game, hopefully, this morning. ๐Ÿ˜Š

I'm hoping to get some gaming in today, it'll possibly be "It Takes Two".
I'm playing this with my Welsh friend. But another UK based friend got interested as well (my "fault" most likely) so I may play it again, this time with them.
I haven't finished it yet, was in the Tree bit. So yeah...

Yesterday, I had loads of fun playing Man of Medan in coop again with a very dear friend.
I'd already finished the game, but he was very interested so I enjoyed playing this game with him.
The genre is totally new to him, while I've played several more story driven games. It may or may not be his cup of tea but I do like his eagerness to try it out. ๐Ÿ˜Š

It was fun! To be continued, I recon....

I know I can love. I have loved. I've given all my love. I've been hurt by those that said they loved me. It made me doubt about love. If you say you love someone, should you now want to protect them from harm instead inf inflicting it on them? I struggle with saying "I love you" these days. I'm afraid to give that power to someone.

Very hard to believe. That's why I didn't understand it while it was happening. I truly believed I was so bad for going through so many bad meltdowns...
But now, the last 5 years being alone, I've had about 8 meltdowns in total... Waaaaaay less and also, less severe.
Yeah I was good when there was money. Then health declined and all went to sh*t...
Some people just are bad and selfish unfortunately.

Played some more yesterday and got to level 14. It's going slowly but I'm enjoying it.
Dunno if I'd love it as much playing solo, but as I mentioned before, doing this coop with a friend is loads of fun. ๐Ÿ˜Š

I just love this series so much, even though it definitely brings me to tears several times.
