@melroy@Hairyblue This is one of the reasons I use kbin over lemmy. The devs don't seem to have the same problematic beliefs as the lemmy devs. Also from my experience, the majority of the lemmy user base don't seem to share in their beliefs either.
The more I see the #fediverse culture change with the influx of redditors to Lemmy & Kbin more I wonder how long the microblogging side of things is safe from the encroachment of the reply guys et al even before Facebook Threads shows up. I follow Ada's BlΓ₯haj Lemmy account here and seeing the reply threads to one of her recent #Lemmy moderation decisions in my #Firefish timeline I wish most of these folks were siloed elsewhere.
@jo That's one of the biggest weaknesses of federation. Even if communities like Beehaw or Blahaj zone are set up as safe spaces in mind, federation opens them up to the userbases of other instances, not all of which share the same ideas for moderation and user safety.
It's one of the reasons Beehaw siloed itself away from some of the biggest instances.

However, since everything we post or comment on kbin (and lemmy) has the potential of getting federated on a mastodon server, which leans heavily...

To demonstrate my first point, I am posting this from my Mastodon account. If I can interact with anyone here via Masto, then one should be able to do the same from Threads as well.
For me itβs definitely gen 4 (heartgold and platinum are just. top tier), but gen 5 is really close. Really polished and challenging games all around...
@Formless Gen 3 definitely had the best water elements,. Besides the underwater world, and the vast ocean, one of my favorite places to explore was the wrecked ship. Gen 4's mansion was great too. Wish they would put urban ex back into pokemon.
