While Reddit is mainstream, Lemmy is populated by the fringe. The mass exodus didn’t occur by the mainstream, and people with moderate views. It was people with more extreme views from various fronts (privacy, anti-corporation, etc). If Lemmy’s and Fediverse growth continues, it will too become mainstream thereby attracting people with mainstream, moderate views.

I do not separate art from the artist. This notion doesn’t even make sense to me. The art comes from the life and experience from the artist no matter how talented. I think you are correct in your idea, however, according to this person, the issue is using Trans as a blanket statement to exclude the entire spectrum in this category. Just a wild guess, but I think Apple is fully aware of this. They are intentionally keeping it separate to set a precedence that they will not bend over and let EU dictate and for the rest of the world to reap the benefit. Same with their decision to fine users for sideloading. They know it’s a losing battle they are just trying to make it as difficult as possible.
