This little cutie, has just been diagnosed with PRA (Progressive Retinal Atrophie) and has become completely blind. I'm looking for people who have some experience with blind dogs and can give me some advice.

@DemocracySpot haha! I get ya. If you could see it, I don’t think you’d be disappointed. That little pond supports a beaver family, and I’ve seen plenty of little reptiles charging about. Undoubtedly way more than that going on in there than we can see.

It's a nice spring day well west of the metropolis today.

(My phone camera was about 1/4 Inch from the surface of the water & the case got a little wet. Butterfingers, don’t try this at home. 😉)

@NeadReport Being a beaver around here is a pretty safe gig. There must be a pretty strong Big Beaver lobby at the state house because you can’t get hunted, nor can you can you get evicted from your dam. If you’re engineering is off and you flood out a road, someone comes and builds a taller road. If you flood out a house, well, it just sucks to be them, they buy a sump pump. About the only thing you have to do if you’re a beaver is catch enough fish, and not get run over by a car.

But you’re not a beaver, so too bad for you.

@grb090423 Ha, I see what you mean! My memory is somewhat degraded by now but my recollection is going into a tourist trap distillery with the intention of immersing ourselves in The Local, and ordering a sampler. Whatever adjective was really in front of each whiskey, I really couldn’t tell the difference.

For all I know it was Jack Daniel’s 😁
